Jogulamba Temple in Alampur
Jogulamba Devi Temple is situated on the banks of the Tungabhadra River, near the confluence of Tungabhadra and the Krishna rivers. It is surrounded by the Nallamala hills. The original temple was built in the 7th century CE and destroyed by invaders in 1390 CE. The enshrined Murti of the Goddess was saved and kept hidden in the nearby Bala.
